About Us

Our Story

Nigeria bears the world’s heaviest malaria burden, accounting for 26% of global cases. For decades, the response has been reactive treating the sick and spraying chemicals. The Malaria Project was founded on the belief that we must be proactive. By moving from concept to community, we are introducing a Genetic Strategy that addresses the root of the problem: the transmission cycle itself. We aren't just fighting a disease; we are pioneering a model for all of sub-Saharan Africa.

Certified Interventions

Deploying WHO-recommended, field-tested vector control solutions and premium diagnostic resources across local communities.

Impact-Driven Results

Delivering targeted, measurable malaria suppression campaigns to protect vulnerable families and save lives daily.

Why Our Work Matters

Nigeria’s malaria crisis isn't just a health issue; it's a humanitarian crisis. By creating malaria-proof mosquito populations, we can protect pregnant women and children, those who pay the ultimate price, without harming the environment

Our Mission

Controlled eradication of malaria through genetic innovation, community partnership, and data-driven health systems.

Our Vision

To position Nigeria as a pioneer in genetic public health, creating a model for a healthy, malaria-free Africa

Volunteering

Join our community health teams on the ground. Help us distribute tools, collect data, or lead educational workshops in your neighborhood.

A responsible Approach To Innovation

We believe no intervention succeeds without trust. We host listening sessions and provide information in local languages to ensure community ownership from day one

Why Nigeria? Why Now?

Nigeria’s malaria crisis directly contributes to one of the world's lowest life expectancies. With 76% of malaria deaths occurring in children under five, we cannot wait for traditional methods to catch up. The time for a bold, scientific leap is now.

Our Core Values

Innovation

We use breakthrough technology, like precision drones and genetic modification, while maintaining the safety standards.

Community Sovereignty

No intervention happens without the trust and leadership of local communities, faith-based groups, and traditional rulers.

Transparency & Data

We believe in real-time reporting and open communication. Our systems allow stakeholders to track progress as it happens.
